Our Story

Crosstown Concrete & Brick Paving started as a family company in 1976 — and fifty years later, that's still exactly what it is.

Over five decades we've poured sidewalks and foundations, laid brick walls and patios, and rebuilt driveways in nearly every suburb of the Twin Cities. Some of that early work is still in the ground and still flat. That isn't an accident. From the first job, the promise was simple: build it right, and build it to last.

We were one of Minnesota's brick paving pioneers, dry-setting interlocking pavers here before most homeowners had ever seen one. The lesson from that era shaped everything we do now — in a climate that freezes and thaws dozens of times a year, the base and the drainage matter more than anything you can see.

At the 50-year mark, the company evolved into specialized divisions so each craft gets a dedicated leader. Jason Doner leads Brick & Walls. Eric Baca leads Concrete & Design. Founder Greg Pietig remains at the helm, quoting the work and standing on the job sites — the same way he has since 1976.

What hasn't changed: you call a person, not a call center. The owner sees your project with his own eyes. And everything we install carries a written limited warranty from a company that intends to be here to honor it.
