Concrete in Minnesota lives or dies on three things: the base under it, the air entrainment in the mix, and the joints cut into it. We prep and compact a proper granular base, specify air-entrained mix designs rated for freeze-thaw exposure, and cut control joints at the right depth and spacing so the slab cracks where you'll never see it.
We finish, cure and — where it makes sense — seal the surface so de-icing salts can't attack the paste. That combination is the difference between a driveway that spalls in six winters and one that's still solid in year thirty.
Removal and haul-away of your old slab is part of the job. So is protecting your lawn, cleaning the site daily, and telling you exactly when to drive on it.
